The Quotes

A collection of some of the more unbelievable quotes uttered by Barack Hussein Obama. These quotes will eventually be organized under topics for easy reference… I have commented on some of these quotes, you will find my interpretation in the brackets.

“I am confident we can create a Kingdom right here on Earth”
- BARACK OBAMA, speaking to a multi-racial evangelical church in Greenville, South Carolina
[Do I really need to comment on this one? This is yet another example of the blasphemy touted by Obama. It goes hand-in-hand with his Marxist ideology. He truly thinks that HE is the "ONE"!]

“If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists – to protect them and to promote their common welfare – all else is lost.”
- BARACK OBAMA, speech, Aug. 28, 2006
[One should never implicitly trust their government, question yes, but governments on a whole are never deserving of blind trust. Now, is it really the government’s responsibility to provide for our welfare? Is it the government’s responsibility to protect us in all things? As far as defense of our nation, yes, as for personal protection - most definitely not… This is a common mantra used by those who wish to increase the scope of government involvement in our personal lives.]

“I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manfuacturer’s lobby.”
BARACK OBAMA, The Audacity of Hope
[Gun control has proved a dismal failure in our inner cities. One only needs to look at Obama’s own hometown of Chicago to see this fact. The 2nd Amendment is as much a part of the Constitution as Freedom of Speech. Just because one lives in an urban area does not negate their Constitutional right to bear arms for protection and self-defense.]

People are whupped. I’m whupped. My wife is whupped. Unless it’s your job to be curious, who really has the time to sit and ask questions and explore issues?
BARACK OBAMA, The New Yorker, May 31, 2004
[The urban dictionary defines “whupped” as “pussy-whipped“. Is this the type of language we want our President to use? And, do we want a President that is so beholden to something that he would describe himself as “whupped”? As far as asking questions and exploring issues - isn’t that something ALL leaders should be REQUIRED to do? Do we want someone who takes reckless action, or one who examines all the consequences and various solutions, and then acts because they are confident that they know what the best resolution is?]

Are some voters not going to vote for me because I’m African American? Those are the same voters who probably wouldn’t vote for me because of my politics.
BARACK OBAMA, Los Angeles Times, Dec. 11, 2006
[In other words, according to Mr. Obama, only Republicans, Conservatives, and Independents who are not going to vote for him can be racists. Never mind that he is the most liberal, marxist candidate we’ve ever seen… Never mind that many of his endorsers and supporters show anti-American, Anti-Caucasian, and anti-Semite qualities.]

In America,” Obama says, “we have this strong bias toward individual action. You know, we idolize the John Wayne hero who comes in to correct things with both guns blazing. But individual actions, individual dreams, are not sufficient. We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations.”
- BARACK OBAMA, Chicago Reader Interview, 1995
[Obama believes in collectivist ideology (more commonly referred to as socialism, and in particular for Obama marxism). For those who may not be familiar with this term, here is a definition from Capitalism.org; The theory of collectivism (in all its variants) holds that man is not an end to himself, but is only a tool to serve the ends of others. Collectivism, unlike individualism, holds the group as the primary, and the standard of moral value. Whether that group is a dictator’s gang, the nation, society, the race, (the) god(s), the majority, the community, the tribe, etc., is irrelevant — the point is that man in principle is a sacrificial victim, whose only value is his ability to sacrifice his happiness for the will of the “group”.]

I’m sorry to impose on your opinions, probably isn’t even my place to say anything- but all you are saying is extremely biased. You don’t show both sides, and when you say collectivism- you say it as if it is a bad thing. Well, I guess I can’t blame you, most americans have been practically programmed to believe collectivism is evil. Does that mean Canada is evil? Or England? Those are collectivist countries, so to say collectivism is bad- is kind of like saying Canada and England are bad, isn’t it?
